Demo Videos

T-Mobile wanted to try something different with their demo videos. In the past, every video was the same: show off three features with some mediocre motion graphics and the people will come flocking. The problem was, this tactic never worked. Our research showed that customers were skeptical of these types of videos and didn’t find them to be genuine. However, the popularity of tech review sites like Engadget was skyrocketing. So, taking that cue, we produced a series of new videos for T-Mobile that featured real T-Mobile employees talking about what they loved about their phones. Even though these were coming from T-Mobile, customers felt they were more genuine, so the videos were much more successful in marketing the phones.
